Microsoft Power Platform

Business apps that fit how your team already works

I’m Asem Alabtah, a certified Power Platform developer. I build the apps and automations that replace the spreadsheets, paper forms, and email chains most processes end up held together with. Based in Amman, I work remotely with teams in Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf.

Who I work with

Most of my clients are companies that already run on Microsoft 365 and have a process that has outgrown a spreadsheet. They need software built properly, but not a permanent developer on payroll.

  • Operations teams still collecting information on paper or in shared Excel files.
  • Businesses that bought a system that does not quite match how they work.
  • Teams with a Power Platform app that has stopped performing, or whose original developer has left.
  • Companies with data spread across SharePoint, an ERP, and a handful of third-party tools that do not talk to each other.

Common questions

What does a Power Platform developer actually do?

I build the internal software a business runs on, using Microsoft’s Power Platform instead of writing an application from scratch. That usually means an app your staff use daily, the automations behind it, and the connections to wherever your data already lives. The result behaves like custom software but costs less to build and change.

Do you work with companies outside Jordan?

Yes. I work remotely with clients in the Gulf, and I take on projects from the US, Australia, and Singapore. Most of my work has been delivered remotely for teams in other countries, so the process is built around that rather than adapted to it.

Can you fix or take over an app someone else built?

Often, yes. Inherited apps are a large part of my work: performance problems, a data model that has stopped fitting the business, or a build whose original developer has moved on. I start by reviewing what exists, then tell you honestly whether repairing it or rebuilding it costs less. Sometimes the answer is rebuild.

How long does a typical project take?

It depends on how many processes the app touches and how clean the data is. A focused single-process app is a matter of weeks; something spanning several departments with integrations runs longer. I give you a scoped estimate after the first call rather than a number before I understand the problem.

Do we need Microsoft licenses before starting?

You need Power Platform licensing for the people who will use what I build, and the right license depends on which components the solution uses. This is worth settling early because it affects design decisions. I will tell you what your solution needs before you commit to anything.

How do we start?

Book the free 30-minute consultation. You describe the process that is causing the problem, I tell you whether Power Platform is the right tool for it, and you leave with a straight answer either way. There is no obligation to continue.
